I'm feeling green this week.

Not like sick, jealous, or vile..

More like;

Earthy, Strong, Vibrant, Resilient

(of a substance or object) able to recoil or spring back into shape after bending, stretching, or being compressed.

(of a person or animal) able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions.

"babies are generally far more resilient than new parents realise

I think about my journey I'm on, I find myself starting to feel burnt out a tad but as it is now the close of my first year in business full time, I am more than forgiving of myself for feeling a little cruddy or worn out at times. Then I get a phone call, a message through Facebook with screen shot text between friends, an email, a letter, some flowers. All with such lovely words and how I have captured their moment perfectly <3 It lights me right back up. It's so nice to get a reminder that I am in fact creative and I can make such a difference to someone with my words and actions, in a positive and caring manner. Not just from the pep talks I regularly give myself about allowance and vulnerability, my own and subject's (that I am photographing). I feel like right now I am soil, absorbing and rehydrating with the rain. Being watered for new growth and possibilities instead of just "Buried in Editing" I have to keep reminding myself to shoot/photograph for myself still, I can't just get carried away in the momentum of serving others constantly, my creative self needs a rinse at times. Luckily for me Dianne, my muse likes to help me deal with my internal dilemmas in a creative way too. Oh boy was Dianne the perfect canvas, dealing with her own journey it was as if she melted into the character we had aimed to photograph. The craving for stillness and yet aching for momentum. The air was crisp and feeling a gentle breeze on my face was so refreshing, I knew the beach had been calling my name for weeks. I am a water baby at heart. I feel like I found the answer I was searching for. enough jabbering on, check out these amazing shots Dianne and I created on Monday. (Beach on a Monday-day, I can't complain there, best job ever!)

Isn't Dianne just gorgeous!! <3 it always a pleasure photographing her <3 even better that she is a #SAKURABRIDE
